The Quantitative Team Science (QuanTS) Program is an NIH-funded initiative to develop training and mentorship in collaborative skills for quantitative scientists. This ACTStat Brown Bag seminar will introduce the program, which includes both online asynchronous training modules and a six-month synchronous small-group program that will open for applications in Summer 2026. The seminar will also discuss how leaders of quantitative groups can leverage the QuanTS Program for training and professional development opportunities for their staff. How to Write a Personal DEIA Statement
On February 22, 2023, Monique Pappadis, PhD, FACRM, shared ideas with ACTStat members on how to write a personal DEIA statement. A tenured professor and vice chair at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Dr. Pappadis’s credentials include serving as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) lead for a CTSA group.
